Xero transaction feeds

Uniting Financial Services (UFS) has introduced a new initiative to make Church Treasurers’ lives easier. We now offer automated transaction feeds, also known as data feeds, allowing you to link your UFS investments or loans with your business accounting software.  This provides benefits including:  Timesaving: Automating the transaction entry process.  Accuracy: Reducing manual errors in data entry.  Up-to-date records: Keeping your financial data current.  Streamlined reconciliation: Simplifying the process of matching transactions to your records.  If you are a Xero client, this page contains information on how to set up your transaction feed.    Sending a request To request an automated transaction feed, you need to send an email to contactus@unitingfinancial.com.au. In your email, include details of the investment/loan you want to link to your feed and specify that you are linking it to Xero.  Please note, you must be an Authorised Signatory on the investment.    Activating the feed After you request the automated transaction feed you will receive an email from UFS containing a link to our banking application. Click on the link provided in the email, which will prompt you to log in to your Xero account. Once you have logged in, you will be prompted to exit the application. The transaction feed setup process will continue from there.    The activation of a new automated transaction feed typically occurs overnight, provided your request is submitted before 12 PM on the business day. This means you can expect the transaction feed to be active and functional by the next morning.  Daily transaction feeds from UFS are typically delivered around 5am each day. This allows your accounting system to be updated with the latest transactions early in the day or at any time you choose.    Linking your investments UFS automated transaction feeds supports the linking of all investment types i.e. Transaction facilities, investments and loans.    There is no limit to the number of investments you can link to UFS automated transaction feeds. You can link as many investments as needed to your Xero system for seamless transaction management.    Deactivating a feed If at any time you wish to deactivate your feed, please contact UFS by emailing contactus@unitingfinancial.com.au
