At UFS, we deliver financing solutions for commercial property investors across a range of commercial investment property types. We offer fixed or variable rate commercial interest-only loans ranging from $1m to $15m, with amounts outside these ranges considered on a case-by-case basis. Loan terms are up to five years.

The UFS Lending team has extensive experience in commercial property lending, having worked across major banks, non-banks and finance brokers. We have been actively lending and supporting commercial property investors for many years, with close working partnership with a number of experienced commercial finance brokers. UFS will consider your circumstances, goals and objectives to provide a competitive and flexible loan facility to meet your needs. We provide quick responses on loan scenarios, finance approvals and settlements. Our interest rates are market leading, particularly among non-bank lenders. UFS observes ethical investment guidelines and measures all security properties against established Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). David recently joined Uniting Financial Services in January 2023 and was recently appointed as Head of Lending, responsible for managing the commercial lending book and team of lending and operations specialists. Prior to his current role, David spent two years as Relationship Director for Westpac Bank and seven years as Senior Consultant for Lendfin. He previously spent 37 years with Westpac in senior management roles, including leading commercial banking teams in the North Western area of Sydney. A seasoned commercial and property finance specialist, David’s experience spans SMEs, middle markets and corporate markets. He brings deep knowledge of lending against specialised assets and is passionate about finding solutions for the largest, most complex transactions.

Craig Schulz Senior Origination and Relationship Manager
Craig Schulz joined Uniting Financial Services in 2019 and is responsible for managing various aspects of the lending process, including new business origination, fulfilment and client service, working closely with direct clients and broker partners. Craig has decades of experience in the lending industry, having spent the past 15 years working as a Property Lending specialist at institutions including NAB and St George.

Daryn Castle Senior Origination and Relationship Manager
Daryn has over 22 years of experience in the finance sector, with extensive knowledge and expertise in capital stack structuring which includes mezzanine, investment advisory and corporate advice. He has assisted multiple real estate sectors across the eastern seaboard, including equities and derivatives. Daryn is responsible for the origination and management of debt related asset investments within Uniting Financial Services. He is focused on maintaining key relationships within the property sector, engaging with borrowers and forming bespoke, market-leading solutions to meet clients’ needs. Prior to joining Uniting Financial Services, Daryn held multiple senior roles across the Australian major four banks, including second tier financiers which spanned institutional, corporate banking, private and retail banking divisions.

Angela TravassarosOrigination and Relationship Manager
Angela Travassaros has over 20 years’ financial services experience across various roles and sectors within the banking field. Angela joined Uniting Financial Services in 2019 and is responsible for loan origination and client relationships. The majority of Angela’s prior experience was in her role as a Senior Business Banking Manager at National Australia Bank, where Angela successfully managed one of the largest banking portfolios in NSW. The role also involved business development, loan control and management. Angela also brings deep experience in all aspects of the customer relationship, including property lending, trading, investing, capital expenditure facilities, interest rate/ treasury hedging, foreign exchange and insurance.
